Futurama Song #3
Bill Nelson from the dappy lookin’ rocker(a la Duane Eddy) to the electronic period then on to some ambient work.
I’ve found there’s gems on all lp’s yet, for me, it’s pick and choose on each.
I believe this was a semi hit for Be Bop deluxe.
he’s not to be ignored.
Happy Sunday.

Great call…
I didn’t pick up on Bill Nelson till about 96′ with ” Practically Wired:How I became Guitar Boy”…and was totally blown away…
who is this guy?
Eno, Fripp, Kerouac,Jazz Ambient,Discreet Metal…beautiful stuff…completely one of a kind…intensely creative,massive output.
So far, I recommend “Practically Wired..”, “the Book of Splendors”
“Chance Encounters in the Garden of Lights”, and “When the Satelitte Sings”.
This guy is the real deal..check http://www.billnelson.com and go on an adventure.
Thanks WJ!
So glad I’ve got someone that knows the hidden goodies!
My favorite, “Sounding The Ritual Echo”
Originally released in 1981, but outa print.
I’ve yet to find it in my jungle room of milk crates!
There was another called “Blue…….?”
I got to get diggin in thar!
Thanks Doc,
