i dunno. the obama video i felt was pretty cringe-inducing, with its overwrought earnestness and unearned sentimentality. but… it got its point across i guess.
plus if it didn’t exist, it wouldn’t have inspired this brilliant McCain piece.

conservatives ate up reagan’s message of hope way back when. ate that shit up. now that that’s nowhere to be seen on their side of the political spectrum (only boogie-men-cum-end-of-days-shysters), they’re all in a tizzy over obama becoming the “hope/reagan” candidate. that’s just how it goes when the pendulum swings this dramatically. they have 8 years bush to thank for that.

I won’t vote for Obama because I’m a conservative, Reagan did many great things, I hope Obama will too,except he’s the most liberal senator which means that the things he will try to do will please the liberals.
