i liked it a lot. now my question is, is this dude a real kook or just really good at ‘kooking out’ (which itself is no easy feat)? i want to believe the former, as it makes the sentiments expressed all the richer.

I do believe this is real, honest kookdom.
I know this because I have surfed with these people on an almost daily basis for decades and the signs are unmistakeable.
When you really think about it..kooks are the vast majority, and in fact, rule the Surfing world.
as well as the rest of the world.

Flight of the Conchords formed in 1998, lots of stuff between then and the TV series..BBC radio program 2004, LP’s,festivals etc..
damn genius really.
