like most things, the key is to figure out whats real, and whats not. then move on with your life accordingly. case in point. whats not in question is john’s ridiculously heroic backside attack at Pipe in 1963. yes, apparently he was hung over, thus ,the rail grab. so what? “don’t forget to go surfing”.
