Johan Galtung..”I love the U.S. Republic..Hate the U.S. Empire”

point well taken.
was driving yesterday, randomly turned on the radio and heard this very “Dr. Strangelove” voice coming over the airwaves..courtesy of Democracy Now, and our local public radio station.
What I heard was
a very compelling perspective on
the subject of the current U.S. position in the world, one that is cognizant of recent and distant global history, and in so doing presenting a much broader ,
inclusive viewpoint of other peoples perspectives, with a precise way of saying yes, here’s whats been going on, here’s what will happen if no changes occur, and here’s how we can work out of this mess.
caution..this will only be of interest if you have an open mind and are willing to suspend dogmatic belief…at least for the short period of time it takes to consider these thoughts and ideas.
then, after that experience, have at it.
for me, I’m happy to have made Mr. Galtung’s acquaintance.
