over the last few years i’ve thought a lot about the issues his book brings up. this man is not crying wolf, that’s for sure. but it’s an individual responsibility to remain conscious and mindful about not falling into the ‘information void’, or what paul chan has called, “the tyranny of connectedness.”
regularly read a book, paint a picture, ride a wave, take a walk… any, all, and plenty more are proper combatants to internet mind control.
as with all new technologies, it’s really just a question of proper integration and temperance. abuse and you’ll be abused… says the person leaving a comment on his own blog!!
