Gore Vidal..Stirring the Pot, As Usual.

Sorry to say good bye to Gore Vidal a couple weeks ago.
Among many other things, many other things, he really could jab a poke in the eye at power..cultural, political,religious.
Here we see an instance where even the affable Dick Cavett gets in the game.
(Wait for the end).
After this show, I believe Norman Mailer punched Vidal to the ground in the studio..
to which Vidal responded:
“well, I see word’s have yet again failed Mr. Mailer”
one of a kind..he is missed.

    try “Julian”, “Burr”, or “1876″.

    The last one a template for what happened in the 2000 Presidential election.

    “Nothing new here folks..we done it before, and probably will again in 2012″.
