this little ditty comes off the “Wrong Eyed Jesus..” cd which, I think was the first one from Mr White.

I was introduced to that cd through fortunate serendipity..doing a couple radio programs a week at a very..free-form station..we would get scores of new promo cd’s a week.

This one showed up in my in-box one night when I came in to do an all-nighter..12am-6am..I
previewed it, and played it in it’s entirety between 3 and 4am.

Got a number of calls…most were from people who were spooked by it..some from people who could have been in the cd itself.

I took the phone off the hook.

It ended up being on that years top 10 cd’s..as voted by all the DJ’s.

Side Note: this song goes well with an equally eerie song ..by Richard Thompson..on the 1990 release”Invisble Means” by that super group..French,Firth, Kaiser, and Thompson.
the song is “Killing Jar”, and it it not recommended for late night listening..

and yes, that is John French aka “Drumbo”.
