Wake up America..Dennis Kucinich..Democratic Convention 8.26.08
Aug 27th, 2008 by Dr. Robert
Did you hear this..?
no, I didn’t either..had to search it out.
as stated before..
on a level playing field..
my choice for President.
Mr. Kucinich.
[UPDATE] (from Jacob)
First off, RIGHT ON Dennis. Secondly… John Kerry’s speech needs to be highlighted as well. It was without a doubt the best speech of Wednesday night, if not the whole convention. While most of the network channels cut away after Clinton spoke, presumably so more heads could talk at a camera obnoxiously loud, trusty ‘ol PBS and C-Span stuck with the podium and gave us Kerry.
I still can’t believe this guy lost to Bush.

Kucinich and Kerry do nothing for me but last night’s Obama speech was killer. As long as that Chad guy isn’t hanging around Florida this November I think he has a chance.

forget florida, if he can take colorado and/or west virginia, ohio, or nevada it’s a done deal. big IFs on all counts though. the speech was solid i thought. people seem to think he nailed it, which in the end is all that really matters in the media cycle.
was mccain’s vp pick as steady and solid?

Kucinich..and good people like him serve a purpose..
they jump up.. scream and shout..wave their arms all around.. and finally distill the fundamental issues down to the real truth..
they have the courage to call out the perpetrators for who they are:
people..
fellow human beings..
who truly don”t give a flying fuck for their fellows..or anything other than power for powers sake..money,greed, position, ego, and ..
through this flawed political system..work for even more power to keep the same sad edifice intact ..indefinitely.
we need the Kucinich’s of this world
to keep the rest of us honest.. speak truth to power..and force us each to examine ourselves..and answer the question of when enough is enough..take action, make the change..
and after that..
what?

Dudes, I’m sorry to report it’s over.
McCain/Palin.
McCain was in a war and Palin shot a moose once.
Slam dunk.

B.Juice..
I’m taking your comment…. as your , very personal , and confessional, concession statement.
Thank you for that humble recognition..it takes a big man to own up to past mistaken attitudes and approach.
While I wonder what took you so long..still, better late than never..
you prove redemption is always a possibility..
the Prodigal returns.
Peace Baby.

Peace, but I need to clarify that I mostly disagree with most political postings here, including the worship of pop culture icons and dismissal of all flyover states and their inhabitants. I’ll stick to the party of Lincoln. Let’s talk Nov.5

…give me a break. ” dismissal of all flyover states and their inhabitants”. North Dakota, Colorado, Virginia, Montana, Ohio, Nevada, North Carolina, South Dakota, Indiana, & Alaska (up until the great Palin was selected) are all swing states this cycle.
This shit about democrats being dismissal of middle America is old, pathetic, and condescending. have some respect.
If you want to call us out here, fine, but use specific examples of where “flyover” states have been disrespected, rather then generic comments with no support.
This isn’t Freeper Land.
………………………
jc, where did you find this?

I’m late getting in on this, so there isn’t much left to say. Mr Beetlejuice’s use of the term ‘flyover states’ is a dead giveaway to his Limbaugh leanings. and god forbid listening. Being a Republican is one thing, there are ’some’ rational Republicans, but listening to Limbaugh and taking anything he has to say seriously, virtually disqualifies a person from any rational productive discussions. Limbaugh is a mean spirited , self serving, pig of a human being. My apologies to the pig community.

Funny that Rush is still on the air. I wonder who listens to him? Probably all those hillbilly conservatives from the midwest.

Yes, not only all the militant redneck retards east of Coastal California, but lower I.Q. Union workers, Construction workers & Warehouse workers.
Where do you fit in?
