10:45 EST: CA, OR & WA close in 15 minutes and they’re about to put Obama over the magical 270 mark! ic
10:13 EST: Obama pulls ahead in Virgina - 83% in.

It’s very soothing and smile-inducing to witness your increasing jubilation, guys. My anxiety/nausea level has been peaked since about 3am, a baby boomer generational thing I guess: used to having hope snatched away or STOLEN, that sort of thing. WOW, a paradigm shift possibility.

maria, it was a great night. so glad to share it with you and the family. this was a huge deal for young people in this country. myself, my brother and sister, your kids, we all needed this win.
this will hopefully be a graceful transition out of the baby-boomer generation of politics and into something uniquely new. whatever change that transpires will not be an inevitability. obama’s biggest strength is his ability to inspire, and he needs to calls on us young americans to serve in some positive capacity.

WOW! A veritable quiver of superlatives come to my mind this early morn. Waking a tad early and realizing it’s TRUE and REAL. I agree with everything you’ve said Jacob and realize that this armor of cynicism and apathy I’ve been shrouded in has dissolved….a willingness to be part of something new and different is so there.
To share this historic sea change with Liana and Colin, the beloved Campbell clan, and amigos near and far is truly a blessing and we have our work cut out for us, one and all. Uh oh, am I becoming a blogger?
