New Neil Young song. His words from HuffPost:
This song popped up at the end of a session in NYC last month. We recorded it that night before we went home. Hope you enjoy this little Shakey Pix video we did last week. I’ll be with you on the 20th.
- Joe the rock star
I’ve got hope
But you can’t eat hope
I’m not done
Not giving up
Not cashing in
Too lateThere’s a bailout coming but it’s not for me
It’s for all those creeps watching tickers on TV
There’s a bailout coming but it’s not for me

Hell No…..Were not giving up, not cashing in. It is too late for such foolishness. Time to step it up. Keep Obama’s feet to the fire. No pandering to the far right. They’ll just take what they can, and turn around and kick you in the you know where. Pressure Israel big time to stop the war crimes, and to make an honest effort toward peace. Show the Palestinian people, and the rest of the world that we are serious about justice. Then apply diplomatic pressure on the countries that support Hamas and Hezbola. They in turn will bring their influence to bear. There are steps that can be taken toward easing some of these problems, which in turn could eventually lead to some solutions. This will take some deep soul searching on all sides, but it is too late for any other option.
Today Martin Luther King is celebrated> Tomorrow Obama will be inaugurated. King said ‘’silence is complicity”. No more silence…. Just look what the relative silence of the last eight years has reaped. Neil stood up, spoke up, and canceled his concert at the LA Forum a couple of months ago, in support of a workers strike there. He walks the walk, and we must as well…….
