G.E. Smith..”Codeine..Acoustic”
Apr 2nd, 2009 by Dr. Robert
If there is a cooler guy ..musician..guitarist..
then
I don’t know who that is is.
The man can play everything.
lead guitar for ..Hall and Oates..Musical director for Saturday Night Live..(85-95)..lead guitar for Dylan..married ..for a while ..to Gilda Radner…
sought after from everybody from Buddy Guy to Clapton.
and seems pretty happy to boot.
the acknowledged master of the Fender
Telecaster..(I think they named a guitar after him)..
here’s just a bit of his broad spectrum artistry..”Codeine”
(previously done well by..Donovan, and Quicksilver).
enjoy.

not sure if he’s happy or not but he sure does wear that silly smilw all the time.
also has one of thee best ‘guitar faces’ around!
i’m happy for him…. if he is happy.

the “happiness index”is an interesting concept.
I believe a certain country..(Bhutan,Nepal..Holland)?..uses it as part of there overall GNP metric.
makes sense.
don’t know about G.E. personally…but I’m consistently damn happy when I hear him play.
good enough for me.
Great cd is “Incense, Herbs, and Oils”.
